Nearly all of the events that we hold here are weddings although we have held wedding anniversery lunches, regattas, film wrap parties and can hold any event that suits the venue. We are very much an outside venue so our season runs from May to September, outside of this the ground is likely to be soft and the weather is decidedly unreliable. With its wide expanse of lawn almost anything is possible and with the panoramic view over the bay a gardern party or tea party would not find a better venue.

Ample parking is provided by the National Trust car park next to the Bankes Arms pub giving a short and very pleasant walk up the leafy lane to Harry Warren. There is limited parking here which is best used for suppliers and those that really cannot walk. We have a 63A event power socket that comes directly from the grid and we also have a back-up generator. This means that an external generator is not needed which saves expense and complexity.

The grounds are dominated by the by the expansive sea view that changes from moment to moment and as dusk falls the lights of Bournemouth twinkle across the water. The beach steps lead directly down to the sandy beach and the lawn overlooks the beach, the cliffs and the bay.      Spectacular

All times of year have their charm: spring is lovely, summer is a hot, sunny, bright holiday with long, balmy evenings and autumn in Purbeck is a well-kept secret. The holiays are over so things are quieter, the weather is usually warm and fine, and autumn it has its own special colourful, fruitful magic.

If you think that Harry Warren may suit your event do get in touch and arrange a visit. We are always happy to show people around and you will then have a good idea of the place and what is possible.
